What is Qi2

Qi2 is the new and next generation of wireless charging standard which is formulated and launched by the Wireless Power Consortium ( WPC). It is the updated version of the former Qi, and the critical innovation is the introduction of the Magnetic Power Profile(MPP) which can provide fast, more efficient and convenient charging experience.

It can also be regarded as the Official Standard Version of Apple's Magsafe. And it opens too all the phone brands like Samsung, Google and so on.
